Economy Topsoil

Economy topsoil is a screened, cost-effective aggregate used by professional landscapers and casual gardeners alike who need a cheap fill soil in projects where there is not a need for higher grades of soil. The cost-effective nature makes it one of our most popular aggregates.

Unlike our other topsoil that we offer, Multi-Purpose Topsoil, our economy topsoil is not screened and is not designed to be suited for any turfing, plating or seeding. This aggregate is primarily used to filling in holes, building up beds, levelling ground or other basic means. Although we do not recommend using economy topsoil for planting, you can use economy top soil to level an area and then add a finer screened soil such as our multi-purpose topsoil on top to plant the seeds in.

The majority of the time economy topsoil is used for large projects and commercial or industrial uses. As you can imagine, the fact that it is the cheapest of our topsoil reflects in the amount of nutrients contained within the topsoil.

We advise our clients to usually buy economy topsoil loose by the tonne, as opposed to topsoil bulk bags. Economy topsoil is commonly used for volume purchasing as it is often used for larger projects. We can still supply you with economy topsoil in bulk bags, however.
